I'm fascinated with the Nargile, the device commonly used here in Istanbul for those who enjoy smoking tobacco. The tobacco typically has dried fruit (such as apple) or mint added, so it actually smells good. Many of the sit-down restaurants offer Nargile for people to use after their meal, and sometimes people stop by just to smoke and have tea or whatever. The tin at the top? That's where they put the charcoal briquette, which is how the Nargile gets its light. Fascinating, but not enough to make me want to smoke!
